The post office in South Africa has released the payment dates on which beneficiaries of the R350 SRD will have their funds ready for collection.
The old age, disability and childcare grants payments will be ready for collection on 3, 7 and 8 March 2022.
The following dates have been set aside for those who receive their SRD grant payments of R350 by cellphone numbers:
- 09 March: 080 + 085
- 10 March: 081 + 086
- 11 March: 082 + 087
- 14 March: 083 + 088
- 15 March: 084 + 089
- 16 March: 080 + 085
- 17 March: 081 + 086
- 18 March: 082 + 087
- 22 March: 083 + 088
- 23 March: 084 + 089
- 24 March: 080 + 085
- 25 March: 081 + 086
- 28 March: 082 + 087
- 29 March: 083 + 088
- 30 March: 084 + 089
- 31 March: 080 + 085
- 01 April : 081 + 086
According to Sassa the cellphone numbers system is designed to make it easier for the Sassa R350 SRD beneficiaries to receive their payments.
Since 21 March 2022 falls on a holiday, Sassa has announced that no payments will be made on this date.
There are seperate queues at the post office and this is done in order to minimize waiting time but also to comply with Covid-19 regulations of the country.
